Knightdale Parks, Recreation & Cultural Programs hosts an Outdoor Movie Night Series each spring and fall. Movies are free and open to the public. Make sure to bring a blanket and/or chairs to sit in. The series will be held at the Knightdale Station Park Amphitheater and the movies will begin at dusk. Chilly night? Bring a cozy blanket.
June 23: Trolls (PG)
June 30: BIG (PG)
July 7: Independence Day, 1996 (PG-13)
July 14: Ice Age: Collision Course (PG)
Groups from local schools will be running the concession stand. All proceeds will directly support the associated school.
Participating Schools: Knightdale Elementary School (6/23), Forestville Road Elementary School (7/14)
Cub Scout Pack 365 meets at Knightdale United Methodist Church in Knightdale on Tuesday nights at 7pm. They love being involved in the community while helping to build future leaders and developing responsibility and pride in youth. If interested in joining, go to www.beascout.org. The Cub Scouts will be volunteering at the Movie Night Series.
Jay’s Italian Ice will be on site for each Movie Night.
