Drafts and Carafes Festival in Knightdale Showcasing Local Wineries and Breweries… at the Station

Drafts and Carafes

For the second consecutive year, on the heels of a fantastic turn out in its inaugural event, the Town of Knightdale will host the Drafts and Carafes Festival at Knightdale Station Park on Saturday, October 15, featuring some of the area’s top breweries and wineries in addition to a whole host of other things…at the Station.

The 2nd Annual Drafts and Carafes Festival starts at 4:00 p.m. and goes until 7:00. This is a family friendly event and all attending are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs for seating throughout. There is no entrance fee, however the individual vendors will be charging for food, beverages, and other on-site crafts and other items for sale.

Much like the inaugural Drafts and Carafes Festival, there will be a great variety of local brews and wine for tasting at the event. The lineup of local breweries for the 2016 edition of the Drafts and Carafes Festival is one you sure don’t want to miss out on, with Gizmo Brew WorksBruePrintBull City Ciderworks, and Double Barley Brewing set to be serving up their craft beers.

Local wineries  will also be offering up a taste of their flavorful North Carolina spirits and will be announced in the days preceding the event. Gregory Vineyards and Neusiok Wines will both be represented at Knightdale Station Park on October 15.

Additionally, in what has become a “tasty tradition” at all Knightdale Station events, with the Drafts and Carafes Festival being no exception, there will be five different food truck options at the event, offering a nice variety of dinner and dessert options for all. The Food Trucks scheduled to be on site…at the Station for the Drafts and Carafes Festival are: BaoziThe Tot SpotQSpressoBrachi – Le Petit RollBam Pow Chow, and Two Roosters Ice Cream. In addition to the food trucks, several vendors are also set to be on hand with Tink & Twist, GerDan Chocolates and Lowe’s Foods of Knightdale all taking part in the festivities as well.
