Knightdale Fall Food Truck Thursdays are Back…at the Station

Knightdale Station Food Truck Thursdays

With the overwhelming popularity of the same events in the Spring and Summer, both dinner and lunch will be served at Knightdale Fall Food Truck Thursdays starting on Thursday, September 1, with a variety of tastes available each week at Knightdale Station Park.

“Food Truck Thursdays” offer weekly lunch options at Knightdale Station new home community Park

Knightdale Station new home community

If you are looking for a little bit of variety in your weekly lunch routine, the Town of Knightdale has the solution, in a convenient setting at the Knightdale Station new home community, as “Food Truck Thursdays” offer up a different tasty option between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. each Thursday at Knightdale Station Park.

The “Food Truck Thursday” event began in April and has been met with a great response throughout the Knightdale area. Show casing a different truck each week has given workers on their lunch break or even parents and grandparents with their little ones at the Knightdale Station new home community’s playground a delicious and fun way to try out some of the area’s most unique lunch options.

This upcoming Thursday, May 21, “Virgil’s Jamaica” will have their truck at Knightdale Station Park from 11-2, offering Jamaican and Indian fare, including some of their most popular offerings, jerk chicken, brown stew, chicken, Caribbean shrimp, among a whole host of other tasty options.

The last week of May will be a busy one for food lovers at Knightdale Station Park, as the final Thursday of the month will see “Amigosan,” featured at Knightdale Station Park on May 28. Staying true to their slogan, “It’s NACHO everyday Taco, Amigosan gives you the choice of either steak, chicken, pork, or tofu in a variety of unique ethnic themed tacos, in addition to their popular sides that include loaded tater tots and loaded nachos that can be ordered in any of the “global styles” that the tacos are offered in.

Just two days later, closing out the “Food Truck” events for the month of May will be the “Food Truck Rodeo” on Saturday, May 30. Due to the popularity of the Food Truck events in Knightdale, the rodeo will return to Knightdale Station Park, from 11am-2pm and will feature five different rucks, as “Bam Pow Chow,” “Bulkogi Korean BBQ,” “Chirba Chirba Dumpling,” “Kona Ice,” and “Rolling Bistro” have all been selected to take part in this event.

“Food Truck Thursday” will continue to run throughout the summer, with the vendors already announced for the month of June to include the traditional and global BBQ and gourmet sandwiches of “Cock-A- Doodle Moo” and “Stuft,” who will be serving up their famous gourmet baked potatoes. In addition, the returning “Virgil’s Jamaica,” and “Chirba Chirba Dumpling,” will also once again be at Knightdale Station Park for the final two Thursday’s in June.
