The family friendly atmosphere and overall community spirit that played a big role in choosing to move your family to the Knightdale Station new home community has been supported in a recent survey conducted by safewise.com, naming the town of Knightdale to their list of the “Safest Cities in North Carolina.”
In the safewise.com poll, they ranked the top 50 Safest Cities in North Carolina, analyzing all cities and towns across the state that host a population of at least 5,000 in their study. They utilized the most recent FBI Crime Report to compare the numbers in each town of violent crimes (aggravated assault, forcible rape, murder, and robbery) as well a property crimes (arson, burglary, larceny-theft, and motor vehicle theft) and calculated the chances out of 1,000 of each of these happening.
The rankings of the Safest Cities in North Carolina explained Knightdale being on the list for the second straight year, showing that there is only an 0.144 percent chance of a violent crime occurring and just an 3.5 percent chance of any property crime occurring as well. Its low crime rates, expansive recreation opportunities, and close proximity to Raleigh make it perfect for couples who want to raise a family.”
Explaing in further detail the safety and feeling of security one can enjoy in living in Knightdale, the article concluded by saying, “Since Knightdale appeared on our list last, the community managed to reduce it’s already impressively low violent crime rate from 2.10 to 1.44 crimes per 1,000 residents.
